WE ALL NEED A NIGHT WITHOUT BAE

Yes, we get it. It's easy to get caught up in the Netflix and chillin' mode, especially when you're with someone you care about.

But everyone needs to cut loose sometimes and enjoy a night out with their squad sans bae. It doesn't matter if you're 18 or 45, we beg you to stop thinking twice when asked to go out.

Why? Well, other than #YOLO, making time for friends is absolutely crucial to your well-being. It can be hard to carve out time from your busy schedule (or your cuddled up movie binge).

We promise it's well worth it. Here's why you need to say "yes" to a big night out every once and a while without bae.

The Laughs, The Tears--They're There

Bae's job is to make you a happy clam, no doubt. But it's certainly a different kind of enjoyment or fulfillment than you get from being around your friends.

Your friends were probably there before your SO. They're going to be there if things don't work out. If bae is your rock, then your squad is an entire boulder. They'll gas you up, feed you cheap tequila, and make sure you laugh while doing so.

The dynamic your friend group shares can't be duplicated, and vice versa for you and your SO. So, your friends should be prioritized as such.

Being that they are your confidants, your right-hands, your go-to's (thanks, Drake), they deserve the time.

Whatever your big night out entails, it's going to be worth it. That's because you're cutting yourself a break to go out, get together with loved ones, and celebrate.

Sure, you can (or should be able to) do all of the same things with bae. But, sometimes it's good to have fun without this person. You had a life before you two were together and it shouldn't end because you're FBO.

Plus, sometimes you really do just need a break from this person. It's not a diss, but sometimes they can get on your nerves or you've just spent too much time together.

A night out with your buddies lets you enjoy yourself in whatever capacity without any added pressure.

Netflix Will Be Around--Your Friends May Not

Okay, that sounds way too morbid, so let us explain. Your friends are young professionals with goals and aspirations and all that other good stuff.

So, it's likely they're not going to be tied down to one location forever. Even so, all of your lives are constantly growing and evolving. People get jobs and have families and do all that other "good stuff."

If you can find the time to get together, then please make it happen. We assure you that later in life you guys may not always have that same opportunity.
